Boys' Life A Great Success

Having read 'Boys' Life', the gang at Just Pretending fell in love. Easily one of the freshest, fastest, funniest plays published in recent years, Korder's short one act piece focuses on three boys: Jack, Don and Phil and their hopeless attempts with the opposite sex. Through a series of relationships, the state of modern courtship is held up to be laughed at, cringed over and pondered, with surprisingly complex results.
This production marked a stepping stone for Just Pretending as we let go the apron strings (and purse strings) of Melbourne University and launched out into the real world, kindly assisted by the guys at The Store Room in North Fitzroy. Our first production away from the Uni proved to be our best so far, with an experienced cast and crew, a great play, awesome recognised venue and a loyal audience.
We hope you enjoyed seeing 'Boys' Life' as much as we enjoyed reading, rehearsing and performing it.
Just Pretending would like to thank everyone who was involved in Boys' Life, from cast and crew through to the guys at The Store Room and all those who came and supported us.
